I qualified as a Holistic Therapist (I.I.H.H.T.) in 2001 at Roby College. My Diploma includes: Basic massage and advanced massage techniques, reflexology, aromatherapy and aromatherapy massage. I am also qualified in Indian Head massage and both Usui and Karuna® Reiki up to Master-Teacher level. I am fully insured and Member of The Reiki Association.  I am also constantly improving and updating my skills and knowledge with yearly Continual Professional Development.

Since qualifying I have worked with many different groups including, Local solutions, The Brothers of Charity, The Neurological Society, The Joe Gibbons Centre, Latham Court, The Richmond Fellowship, The Fieldway Group, Ardent Finance, Knowsley Disability Concern, Davey’s Chemist and Merseyside Police, Butterworth Barlow accountants, a call centre for a large multinational bank based in Kirby, John Mason International and Knowsley Probation services.

However I have also always seen clients 1:1 at my home treatment room. This is what has enabled me to take what I have learnt over the last 24+ years to refine my Holistic Well-being plan before I offered it to clients. This gives me the chance to sit and talk with each of them and get to know their needs and preferences as well as being able to spend more time tailoring their treatment plan for overall well-being.

I am passionate about helping people to achieve their health goals and making sure that they receive the right treatment to meet their individual needs. I believe that spotting and tackling the early signs of stress through complementary therapy can help to prevent it escalating into potentially serious health problems such as high blood pressure, anxiety and depression. I also believe in giving people the tools to help them take control of their health and well-being in any way that they can to help facilitate this.

However I always suggest that anybody who feels that they may be suffering from any form of stress or ill health to consult with their doctor or other health professional to ensure that this is not linked to any other underlying medical condition. Also some medical conditions are contra-indicated to certain treatments. I  follow my governing body’s advice that complementary therapies should never be used in place of conventional care.

As all clients are individuals not all will experience the same treatment, benefits or outcomes.
All therapies include a full consultation and all information is kept in the strictest confidence. All clients also receive after care advice to help enhance the benefits of their treatment.
