Meridian Reflexology

This is completely different to the other two types of Reflexology in that a very light pressure is applied to the Meridian channels of the feet. In Eastern medicine meridians are the energy highway that flow throughout our bodies, rather like our veins but the energy version. These meridians have been mapped for thousands of years and modern science has now also mapped these energy channels. By feeling along the Meridian channel I can feel if there is an excess or depletion of energy and use the right pressure and massage movements to help restore balance. This is a deeply relaxing therapy which works on the whole foot and thus the whole of the body to bring relaxation and balance. In Eastern traditions when our energy is in balance then our bodies and mind tend to be healthier and more able to cope with life's pressures. This is a deeply relaxing treatment. Essential oils are used to enhance this treatment. Why not upgrade to the Deluxe treatment? This includes a lower leg massage and pressure point work, a foot mask and wrap finished off with a chakra balancing foot massage.
