Thermo Auricular Therapy (Hopi ear candling) this pleasant therapy for the ears offers a natural and safe method for removing earwax, infections and residuals of past ear infections. Ear candling aims to not only help clear impacted ear wax but to also improve the flow of energy to the ear. How candling works? The warmth from the candle helps create a seal between the candle and ear, the rising heated air within the candle creates a very mild suction that helps to loosen debris and wax. The candle ingredients are vaporised making the air inside the candle heavier, this spirals down into the ear canal and massages the eardrum. As the candle creates a very mild suction no wax is drawn out of the ear. The residue that is found in the base of the candle is wax from the candle or the ingredients that are impregnated into the candle. Both ears are worked.
